Visit to Yale University July 2014

In July 2014, a room of Yale University - one of the greatest universities in the world - is dedicated in honor of William H. Poteat. A sculpture by Moustakas (donated by the students of W.Poteat) is placed in the room, as well as a draft donated by Moustakas himself entitled "Orpheus and Eurydice", a favorite theme of W. Poteat ...

Haiku poems were asked by Zoe Savina (poet), wife of V. Moustakas. The specific dedication will be displayed in the room too- haiku and collages dedicated by Zoe Savina.

William H. Poteat (19 April 1919 – 17 May 2000) was a philosopher, scholar, and charismatic professor of Philosophy, Religion, and Culture at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Trip to the U.S. in Spring of 2013- Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy Bust Unveiling

A friendly greeting between Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and the creator of the bust, sculptor Vagelis Moustakas.

On Thursday evening, the dedication of the Sacramento courthouse’s Library and Learning Center in Justice Anthony Kennedy took place with the honorary U.S. Supreme Court members in attendance.

Α reception was preceded in the Robert T. Matsui United States Courthouse’s rotunda, followed by praising remarks of eminent members of the legal world and topped by a stemwinder from the guest of honor.

METRO Sculptural Composition Unveiling

The unveiling of the sculptural composition "Meeting" by Vagelis Moustakas (five sculptures) was accomplished, placed at the entrance of Peristeri Metro station in Athens.

Diavlos Publications announced the release of a five-volume work entitled "Becoming" by professor/academic Panos Ligomenidis.

Trip to the U.S.

In Spring of 2013, a trip to the U.S. is pending. Vaggelis Moustakas created Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy bust which is about to be placed at the Sacramento’s State House. The unveiling will be carried out as well.
